Do's & Don'ts While Traveling by Metro

Keep behind the yellow line before boarding.
Maintain distance from doors to allow others to board.
Follow instructions from station staff.
Be careful with loose items like Saree, Dupatta, Dhoti, and bags.
Take care of your belongings while traveling or waiting.
Press the Passenger Emergency Alarm if any passenger/article is stuck in doors.
Keep an eye on children & infants while traveling.
Do not push while boarding or de-boarding.
Do not make noise or play music openly.
If issues arise, contact metro security instead of fighting.
Do not attempt to enter/exit while doors are closing.
Do not obstruct door closure.
Show smart card or token at entry/exit gates.
Smart card use gives 10% discount on travel fee.
Ensure proper entry/exit to avoid penalties.
Carrying token beyond exit is a punishable offence.
Unused tokens must be refunded within 60 minutes from the purchase station.
